The International Midas Dealers Association (IMDA) is an organization that is comprised of Midas franchise owners. Originally formed in 1971 as the National Midas Dealers Association, its scope was expanded when dealers representing the entire North American continent were invited to join.
The purpose of IMDA has not changed in over thirty years of operation... IMDA represents, as a single voice, the best interests of the franchisee to Midas, Inc. Issues surrounding profitability, marketing, operations and computerization, to name a few, are always on the forefront. In continued efforts for better communication and cooperation with Midas, Inc., the IMDA developed a Statement of Principle, which was presented to Midas Senior Management.
These efforts are the direct result of the volunteer leadership and commitment of the members of IMDA. It has been proved that the strength that IMDA represents is a powerful force and is increased with every new member.
In addition to the strength that IMDA represents it offers our members the opportunity to network with fellow dealers. Through meetings, newsletters and friendship, our members can share ideas, concerns and questions that help everyone's business. IMDA is truly a valuable resource.
Membership in IMDA is restricted to owners of Midas franchises. Dues are assessed on the number of shops owned and can be paid quarterly by check or credit card. The dues assessment per shop per quarter is $100. (Canadians can pay in Canadian funds - $100 per shop per quarter).
If you want to have more of a voice in issues that effect your livelihood, then join hundreds of your fellow Midas dealers and become a member of IMDA. The association that works for you.
